Eftersom att tionde boken i Sookie Stackhouse Series komemr ut nästa vecka(!) har jag börjat läsa The Sookie Stackhouse Short Story Collection. Köpte den i Januari när jag läst ut nionde boken men lyckades inte riktigt börja läsa den, men så nu tänkte jag försöka komma in i stämningen lite. Och nog har jag saknat stämningen så nu taggar jag till tusen inför el libero numero diez.

Utdrag ur novellen "One Word Answer":
   "And you would be?" he asked with cold courtesy 
   "I would be Bill Compton, resident of this parish and friend to Miss Stackhouse," Bill said omniously. "I'm also an employee of the queen, like you"
   The queen had hired Bill so the computer database about vampires he was working on would be her property. Somehow, I thought Mr. Cataliades performed more personal services. He looked like he knew where all the bodies were buried, and the vampire Waldo looked like he had put them there.
